This morning, media outlet GlobalPost posted video footage on their site of Gaddafi’s corpse being sodomized and claim that it was an important part of the story that needed to be shared.
I am sure the folks of GP are spinning in their desks chairs now saying, “Jinkies, could’a had a V8!!!1!!!!”
Free speech has made Uhmerikuh a place where things like this are quickly forgotten like the horrific car accidents we oggle at one second along the highway and then completely forget the next, speeding along in our boxes.
What is sacred anymore? Anyone that creates wants their creation to be revered but so much of media is worth forgetting.
The goal of this project is to create media worth thinking about. Just minutes ago I self published a book that I’ve been working on and I’m waiting until November 3rd for it to arrive at my doorstep.
And just a day after the third, on the evening of the fourth, I’ll be releasing the first issue of “Paper News Volume 1,” a literary magazine that will be illustrated by the audience of Scheiße Zeig, the project’s biweekly news variety hour.
In a culture where the profane has become our commerce, it is so important to assert the sacred before the profane is posited as sacred.
Work with me.
